Kuwaiti Fashionista Noha Nabil Jailed for Breaking the Rule
Kuwaiti fashionista Noha Nabil was jailed for two days, according to Kuwaiti journalist Abou Talal Al-Hamrani, after she broke mandatory home quarantine, a decision taken by the Ministry of Health to prevent the coronavirus spread, and she donated blood, while it is not known yet whether she has the virus or not. Noting that Noha signed on the Ministry’s decision of not leaving the house.
Al-Hamrani revealed some details in his tweet: “the fashionista is having a bad experience; she cannot believe what just happened to her as she wasn’t expecting to be detained this quick.”
Adding that Noha Nabil was called for investigation by the Kuwaiti security, and since she had broken the law and didn’t abide by the quarantine rule, Noha was jailed in “custody”, a prison for the new and temporary cases, for 10 days. However, Noha was released yesterday, after spending 2 days in prison, by the General Investigation Department.
The fashionista behind @nohastyleicon, where she has more than 8M followers, didn’t deny nor did she share anything about her detention. However, her attorney, Dari Al-Wawan confirmed in a tweet that Noha was officially released and that they would file a lawsuit against people who insulted her during that time.
